Hotel Prakash is itself a landmark in Dadar (w).This restaurant is very old and totally depends on it’ tasty food as the interior or decor almost does not exist. This hotel serves very tasty maharashtrian snacks like batata wada , misal and sabudana wada and their famous sweet drink called piyush which is made from shrikhand. They are very particular about not serving soft drinks or other ready made drinks. They are unique in many ways.
Those who are particular about the decor and seating arrangments should never visit this place as it’s like a canteen. Bu if you want the taste and fresh snacks then this is the place. They have no effect of other hotels in ths same area doing renovations and adding new things. This one is very crowded and packed to it’s capacity on days like angarki or ashadhi eakadashi.
On such days they serve snacks for fasting. There are amny people who swear by their sabudana wada , it’s very tasty and crispy like no other.
