The IMAX Prasad theater is awesome and everyone should at least experience it one time. The experience is truly amazing only for movies that are specially made for IMAX screens(and not the routine Hindi/Telugu flicks). Movies such as Deep Blue sea or even partially IMAX shot movies like Dark Knight and Mission Impossible 4, Avatar and Alice in Wonderland. I have seen all these movies at this hall and it was worth all the money that I spent here. I had been to Imax at AMC Universal Hollywood and Prasad IMAX actually compares to it. Infact I find IMAX Prasad to be a tad bit better than that theater.
The box office crowd(on weekends) is my only grudge. Wish they manage it better.
I am also amazed that Prasad’s actually followed the no-interval policies for English movies and stated so clearly at the entrance. So special kudos to Prasad IMAX for that. Unfortunately, not all the movies are fit for IMAX and they do screen even popular movies at this screen and watching them is really painful to the eyes. But they have to do it to get the extra money by cashing on the popularity of these new movies. But as such its a great theater and a must watch for any IMAX fit movie.
A word of warning though, skip the first 3-4 rows if you want to have a real amazing experience.
