I bought my Honda Unicorn bike in 2009 March from Pratul Honda Showroom in Kondapur. From then onwards my struggles started. Right from day 1 issues are there with my bike. Engine sound is a little rough and its naggin, gears are very rough and do not shift properly. So I took it for first free service and told all the complaints. They simply did the water wash and gave it back to me. When I told none of my complaints were resolved they sent with me their mechanic for a test drive and they some how convinced me that in the first 1 month the engine sound is like that and also mesmorized me saying that the way you are shifting the gears is wrong(But I have been driving bikes from 8 years before and I am a very smooth driver). So in the second service they responded when I told I will wirte a complaint to Honda Company and my gear shifting problem got resolved. Later on in my 4th service they did not change the Engine Oil and gave the bike only by water washing. One day Engine started giving wierd sounds and then the big problems started for me. My gear shifitng problem is back and it is never resolved from then. But they bluffed strongly that they would change the Engine oil without fail. Though not interested after 1 year I had given my bike for servicing in the same place. Oil leaking problem started. Every day I used to take my bike to the same showroom and they say we have fixed it and it will never repeat. This happened 4 times and everyday my pant and shoes used to be full of oil. All the Engine Oil got leaked and they told that will refill the Engine oil.but they did not. I was out of station and my friend while driving realized that the Engine started giving horrible sounds. Then when this was showed to a local mechanic he told that Engine came to bore. I don’t know how come a bike comes to bore in 2 years. Now I want to give it to a local mechanic whom we can trust and I never want to give it in any of the Honda showrooms in Hyderabad. Friends I advice you not to buy your bike in Pratul Honda Kondapur or give your bikes for service in Pratul Honda Kondapur. Better give it to a local mechanic whom you trust.
