I happened to travel by this Omni Bus operator from Madurai to Chennai and back. They said they will reach Chennai by 6.30 in the morning, I had a meeting to attend by 9.30, I thought I have a 3 hour window. But when I woke up at 6.30 the bus was at Pondicherry, I dont know why the hell they went to Pondy.
Finally they reached Chennai by 8.30, it took me 40 mins to reach my hotel, 30 mins to get ready and another 40 mins travel to the meeting. I was the only person to go late and I have earned a bad name. The story is not over, I had booked the return ticket already and so took the same travels back to Madurai. The bus developed some problem and stopped at Trichy. The driver said an alternative bus is coming, but they stopped one of their bus on route to Madurai and asked all of us (around 30 people) to get in it, half of them got seats while the rest of us were asked to stand all the way from Trichy to Madurai which is a 3 hour travel.
Some of us got down in the mid way and took other transports to Madurai, the Parveen people didint even refund the remaining tariff. I have never seen any such service or have heard of one like this.
