The novel is very interesting and quite well written . The ever fascinating subject of man-woman relationship is again analysed and a laudable effort has been made to give rhyme and reason to the workings of the heart.
The story is mainly about Vineet and Ketaki who part as college friends and meet again as married adults after a long gap of about twenty years. The emotional tumult that both of them undergo due to their coming together again and how they handle it as mature adults is the underlying tapestry that holds the story together.
Whether Ketakis final decision to move into Vineet house, is a wise one remains questionable. The authors convincing penmanship might provoke a blind acceptance of the conclusion from the readers, but nonetheless it seems unimaginative and impractical.
But otherwise the book should make for quite an entertaining and thoughtful reading, bringing ones own hidden stories to the surface for retrospection and reflection for better understanding of the self and the yin and yang forces , as it did for me.
