Sooraj Barjatiya’s world has the set of rich and obeying sons and sarvaguni daughters. The males in his movies have a family business which keeps on generating income without the need of them to go to work and the daughters or daughter in law’s are amazing cooks and they love spending their lives in the kitchen wearing banarasi sarees and hell lot of jewellery.
Prem aka Salman Khan is the lucky mascot for the Rajshri Production and the real life Bad Boy is always the Reel Life Good boy in the Rajshri movies’. Prem Ratan Dhan Payo hit the theatres on the auspicious day of Diwali.
This movie was crazily hyped and people were waiting for the Dual Prem Effect on the Big Screen. Sooraj Barjatiya got the perfect Sonam Kapoor for the role of a Princess. The princess had the Brit Accent Hindi. I wanted to watch the much hyped Sanskari Orgasm.
The movie is a typical Hindi Serial in the span of 2 hours 45 minutes. The movie’s star caste is also super cool(read in sarcasm). It has ANupam Kher, Salman Khan, Salman Khan(yes I know I have written Salman Khan twice), Sonam Kapoor, Niel Nitin Mukesh, the man and woman from some Hindi Serial, the amazing girl from Tanu Weds Manu(also in the Tata Tea – Jaago re Advertisement – Really love her), there’s also Pappi Ji from Tanu Weds Manu who is the best friend of the Non-Royal Salman Khan and yeah pretty much that’s it! Hell! The Sanskari movie had Alok Nath Missing!
The movie had one king with 2 wives and 1 lover. He fathered 4 children, and then died giving everything to the child from the first wife. Which was Salman Khan with moustache(basically he was Salman Khan from Dabangg). This Salman Khan had no charm; he is the arrogant Prince and non-romantic.
If you guys are active on Instagram, you would have noticed so much of PRDP Dubsmash made by 1000’s of them and Sonam Kapoor sharing all of them. Yes! The song had already become a nuisance and in the movie, I just ignored the song. The movie like any other Rajshri movies has songs after every scene. Then there is the charming Salman Khan ho is not the King’s child. He is just born from somewhere in some village and organises Ram Leela’s. This Salman Khan is basically Salman from Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Ram Bhakt. He falls in Sanskari love with Sonam Kapoor, who also has an NGO for poor people.
The Dabangg Salman Khan is in danger and that is when the movie starts, with songs and family problems discussed.
You guys have to watch the movie to know how funny it is. And yes the Sanskari Orgasm exists in the movie. By the end of the movie you will have a head ache.
I am not a Salman Hater, in fact I like Salman Khan and Sonam Kapoor is one of my favourites, but this movie is pretty much not up to the mark.
Why did I go for the movie, though I knew it is a waste of money?
I didn’t pay for the tickets. My best friend who is a hardcore Salman fan did sponsor it for us.
