Prem Dilwala(Salman) is a ramleela entertainer and a fan of humantarian princess Maithili(Sonam) looks less of princess more of maid. Prem decides to meet her and support her foundation for relief work but soon discovers some unrily laws of her in laws side where a family feud is on. How will prem gets them all on love path? how the frozen walls of animosity be breaken between the siblings
First half of PRDP is really what everyone wanted entertaining, gripping, jazzy, crisp and fast but as soon as movie enters second half it moves snail paced and like a headless chicken into the 90’s territory and wanders a like a lost soul in famy values, love and suspense. First half gives us enough moments to look forward for next half but soon the sheen and plot is lost in vengeance. Sooraj barjatya gets us all to see a royal side of princely states and individuals and he was really good at it but he lacked big time in arousing required emotions between brothers sisters and love interests. On the top of it mundane senseless songs made it more soporfic to watch. Salman as usual has been an abslolute charmer with chiselles looks and reversing age and scene by scene made himself a delight . Aftr Amitabh if you wana listen someone in hindi that him with his superb dialogue delivery. Weakest point till date for sooraj barjatya movie is casting sonam kapopr as lead actress as she looks more of maid than a princess. Rest of the casting was ok but the only person missed was shri alok nathji who is always the soul of barjatya production. Yet PRDP was not able to instill required values but the royal picturization and salman are the inly factors to make it a one time watch for sure.
