Premaku-Raincheck Story: Premaku Raincheck is a love story which revolves mostly around the office. Wiki the lead role of the film played by Abhilash Vadada believes having romance in office affects career as well as love. The Lead actor and actress meet, the actress named Ramya played by Priya Vadlamani at the office.
Premaku-Raincheck Story Review: Wiki joins an adventure sports management company, makes a few changes and increases its revenue with his dedication and new initiatives. Impressed with Ramya’s work, he asks her to lead major Procrustes. The protagonist ignores his love for Ramya because of his principle and ensures to be in a relationship with Tanya played by Monica Tavanam.
Ramya, who wishes to go abroad for further studies takes a Raincheck for every favor she does for Wiki. Ramya, who has been portrayed as the girl-next-door with shy characteristics, is madly in love with Wiki but never expresses it. On the other hand, Tanya(fashion designer) was portrayed as a bold and party freak who expresses her love for Wiki very openly.
Director Prabhakar Podakandla ensures the audience stick to their seats by creating a regular metro(city) ambiance, projecting lifestyle of regular working class. The movie slows down a bit on many occasions times. The traditional music and direction with the available resources and budget available is an add-on to the movie. When the movie is about to lose its pace, Ramya’s witty one-liners turn out to be the saving grace.
Briefing upon Premaku-Raincheck:
So basically this movie has used the concept of raincheck very well. But the script didn’t have much to give the audience. A family entertainer for sure but not up to the mark.
