My car suddenly stopped on the road on 2nd Sept. Immediately I called Prerana Motors, Old madras road, Bangalore to pick my vehicle. After that I got a call from service advisor Mr. Kumareshan that the starter problem and requested me to do the overhaul. I have gvn sanction for starter repair.
The next day I got a call from other service supervisor named Mr. Manjunath and he faxed me the estimate costing Rs.22292/- so I denied first but later I visited the workshop on 5th Sep, at that time their Manager Mr. Karthik who came into the picture and he has given a overall figure of Rs.21000/- and asked me to sign on the estimate sheet.
The same has accepted from my end also. After several calls and follow-ups with MrManjunath, yesterday (14th Sep) I got a call from Mr. Karthik that the cost will be 18800/- for spares and the labour will be 16000/-. So the total will be 34800/-. Without giving any estimate and even without my knowledge they are claiming they have done the repair and now they asked me to pay the amount. Pls do not got to Prerana Motors you will be cheated if you know little.
