I brought Prestige Induction Cook Top PIC 1.0 V2 and do not use it regularly. After 4 months of the purchase it stopped heating, I raised a complaint and despite that, after lots of follow ups they came after around 15 days. Anyways they changed the faulty part that time.
After 3 months again the device stopped functioning and after the complaint the Engineer visited and then say that we need pay around Rs 400 to fix the fault. When we ask him that the product is under warranty but as per him he cannot fix it because the device has become faulty due to cockroaches which entered inside the device. I just asked them below questions:-
1.)Why did they design it like this which allows the cockroach to went inside the circuit board.
2.) How could I know the cockroach is sitting inside the induction stove. They could not answer it and went away saying that they dont care and I need to pay for fixing the device which is under warranty.
You can understand the kind of product they are purchasing from China and selling to us on so much higher rates and with such kind of worst service. I really recommend not to buy Prestige induction stove due to worst product quality and such kind of bad service to their customers.
Currently I am thinking to submit a complaint in the consumer court, lets see what they say!
Hoping that one day, people start to work honestly in India and there is some kind of strict rules made which are not only made but implemented as well.
