Prestige Induction Cooker - Full of faults

I had bought Prestige Induction cooker preferring over Pigeon as I thought the cooker would be of good quality as it is coming from a popular brand. However it had fallen short of my expectations due to following faults.

  1. The cooker body is very brittle and it had cracked after about 2 months of usage. The body material is of very poor quality and it is cracking due to heat. Whats the point in getting that replaced if the replacement is also the same material. There are lot of complaints on this.

  2. I continued to use the cooker but after sometime the cooker simply stopped working. If you switch it on and place a vessel, it would operate for about a second or two and it would immediately show "E6" and stops working. This is quite irregular but it started to occur frequently. All the vessels I use are prestige induction cooktop vessels so the issue is not with the vessel but with the cooker.

  3. Limited menu options for heating. It starts from 80C which is practically useless and the next menu option is 160C! The ideal operating temperature most people would use for slow cooking is like 120-130C which is missing. The design of this cooker is poor in terms of usability.

In short, if you buy this due to "brand name" it would be waste of your money.
