My experience is also similar with Prestige Induction Stove, Just after a few days of use, its body got cracked because it was not able to withstand the temperature, they got the body replaced but just after 3-4 days of use, it started melting again and cracked. What I feel about it is, specially model PIC 3.0 is completely failure, it is a defective design and if they are wishing to maintain their reputation, they should recall this product. Other problems:
They have a shortage of service people, takes 12-15 days to provide service.
You cannot depend on it, you need to send it to service for 15 days every month. Or you may buy two of them, so that one you can use and other will be in transit. LOL.
This all will happen when you have replaced all your utensils with ones with flat and stainless steel base
