I purchased Prestige Induction cook-top PIC 4.0 on 23rd Nov 2011 from M/s.Rohit Enterprises, Goregaon west, Mumbai. After using a couple of days, trouble started i.e., particular MCB switches of our Flat are dripping. When I complained to the franchisee M/s.Rohit Enterprises, they noted the complaint but said that the company is very slow in responding. Then I took the number of Chandivali service centre manager Mr.Jayesh 9324405298, but when I tried to contact, he was very busy with audit and he later called me only after Mr.Dushyant Parab(seems his superior official - 9987199506) intervened. I understand that Mr.Dushyant is Mumbai-in-charge for Prestige, who seems to be a thorough gentleman; by calling repeatedly during the last 2 months - service person came and did some replacement of parts etc. but all in vain, as the problem repeated; finally on 8th Feb’12 the unit is replaced with the intervention of Mr.Dushyant. FINE, the new piece worked for 5-Days and then problem repeated! So again from 13th Feb’12 is is idle & I am now complaining again!
Hence, during the last 85 days after purchase, we could use it for 5 days and the replaced-unit another 5-days. We have Samsung 32" TV, IFB-automatic washing machine, Samsung Fridge, two Onida split ACs, Haier microwave oven, PC, 3 laptops, rice-cooker, mixie, Aquaguard etc. Flat construction is very good, we never had any problem for any appliance & even the prestige service engineer checked and confirmed that the earthing is perfect.
On reading the review of mvr1962| Mar 08, 2011 01:58 PM on Mouthshut.com, I realized that the problem is definitely with the product, but not with our usage or our flat’s electrical infrastructure.
