A brand that brings trust to the Indian kitchen

Prestige is one of those brands that most families instantly recognize. For many its not another kitchen label its woven into life. From pressure cookers, to gas stoves and induction cooktops Prestige has gradually carved out a lasting spot in our cooking spaces over the years. The name has become synonymous, with reliability, simplicity and trust.

Honestly the first thing that comes to mind when I think of Prestige is Moms pressure cooker that silver pot, with the black handle. Weve pulled it out every day for years and it still whistles and clicks just like the day it rolled out of the store. That stubborn durability is why we kept adding Prestige gear to our kitchen. Over the years we tacked on a nonstick cookware set, a mixergrinder that never quits and recently an induction cooktop that now shares the countertop with the pot.

Prestiges quality is, for the part pretty impressive. Their cookers spread heat evenly the safety features behave reliably. The lids lock in with a click. Ive noticed how the designs have been refreshed over the yearsthe latest cooker line feels modern and stylish, without sacrificing the oldschool sturdiness. The nonstick pans are surprisingly robust. Come out of the sink with any scrubbing needed. Compared with the alternatives the coating stays. Wont start peeling unless its handled roughly.

We’ve had this mixer grinder for, over three years now and it still handles both dry grinding like a champ. The motor is pretty beefy. The jars are made from sturdy, topgrade steel. It does make an amount of noise. Thats par for the course, with any grinder. In the end what really matters is performance. Prestige never disappoints in that department.

Another product worth noting is their induction cooktop. Its interface is straightforward it reaches temperatures in a snap. It offers clearly labeled presets, for dishes ranging from a simmering pot of milk to a sizzling dosa or a fragrant curry. The energysaving design is evidentit trims both gas usage and cooking time.

The aftersales support, from Prestige is respectable though not flawless. When the gasket, on our cooker needed replacing the local service centre took care of it without any hassle. The main drawback lies in the pace of their customer supportsecuring a technician often required followups. Still the staff are generally courteous and cooperative.

If I were to flag any downsides the nonstick cookware line tops the list. Its coating is rather temperamental one metal spoon and the surface starts to lose its luster. A few items also carry a premium over brands yet the sturdy build quality tends to make that extra cost worthwhile in the long run.

What sets Prestige apart is its consistency and unmistakable Indian identity. It seems to read the needs of households accurately, than any imported competitor. Whether the job is pressurecooking rice frying pakoras or simmering a masala Prestige offers a tool for each task. The brand has kept evolving. From aluminium cookers, to electric kettles and induction cooktops. Without ever losing its practical focus.

For families that need kitchen gear that can hold up fits the budget and is a breeze to use Prestige often comes across as a pick. Its the sort of brand that has earned customers confidence, by performing, not by marketing fluff.
