You can't take it with you

I love magazines and probably always will. The only con I can see to online magazines is you can’t take them with you.

Of course if you have a lap top you could but there are many places you might not want to take a lap top, yet have a wait and want to read a magazine.

One example I can think of is going to pick the kids up after and event and you may have to wait a few minutes. You sure don’t want to carry a laptop then but the paper version is easy to just keep in your car for those times when you only have a few minutes. Another time for reading a small amount is while in the bathroom and some how I can’t picture holding a lap top there!

I do like reading online basically because the print is bigger and easier on the eyes. Of course there are many that are not available on line, so the more I think about it I guess I would have to recommend the paper version over the computer version.

You will also find more complete articles in the paper form and of course all the wonderful pictures that go with it.

In general for those that like to read but don’t have much time magazines are great to have around. You can get carried away and order more than what you have time to read so you have to be careful there. I used to receive over 20 a month in the mail and ended up throwing away a lot for lack of time so I have since cut way back to the ones that suit my interests the most and now receive only 4. Those are Womens Day, Family Circle, County Music, and Writers Digest. I wish I had time for more just like I wish there were more hours in a day. Reading is a great way to learn and I recommend reading some every day even if you only have half an hour.
