I went to have a consumption with a gynee at Privat Hospital last year. And my experience will never bring me back to the same place, neither will I refer that place to others.
Costs are exorbitant - specially the pathological tests. They use the Ranbaxy lab, for many tests. They charge hush hush money for simple thyroid, lipid profile and hormone tests. I had to burn Rs. 7000/- for tests which I did at Rs. 3250/- at Apollo. Also Ranbaxy has numerous labs, and their charges are normal too. Upon asking a list of tests that they do and their costs, they could not produce me any such document !! This was strange too....
The nurses are not enough experienced. They literally had a tough time finding out my vain. One girl had to hold my hand while another search vain and place the niddle !! They look nervous as well !! Doctor there, didn’t even care to tell me which are the tests she is asking me to do, and giving me an option to choose where I do those tests.
She gave the list of tests to nurse and asked me to follow her. When they were making niddles ready then I had to ask what are they tests they are going to do? And then received a bill of 7000/- I was totally dropped from the sky.To me the Privat looked simply like a money suc*ing place.
