I first want to say that when I started using this product a few months ago, I was truly disapointed. One thing they don’t mention(at least not that I read) is that you NEED to moisterize every time you use this product. Overdrying may clear you up for a few day but after several, your skin will start looking red, worn down and will break out worse than before. Unfortunatly it took me two months to figure this out but now my skin looks better than ever.
The second mistake I hear people making is overusing the repairing lotion. They say on the bottle "use a pea size amount for your entire face". NOT PER ZIT! I learned my lesson the hard way on this and had one pimple turn into clusters overnight. Even if you think you should use more because your’e not "feeling it working", trust me it is. There’s no reason to endure third degree burns in order to clear up your acne.
Basically, as long as you use the product as directed and combine that with a good oil free face lotion, you should hopefully have the same experience I did. Proactiv doesn’t work miracles but for$20 a month it’s a smart buy for anyone looking for much clearer skin.
