Pray that you get the correct product

It is very early that I’ve to comment on a product which I’ve not yet used. I can only do that if the so called "Proactiv" reaches my address for me to use it.


It all started on 7th June when I saw their compelling advertisement on TV and immediately logged on to their website and bought a Deluxe Kit for my wife.


The product got delivered on 10th June 2009 at my office address and I paid the courier fellow aprox Rs.3000/- for the Deluxe Kit (60 Days solution). When I went home and gifted the kit to my wife, it only had 3-4 small (tiny) bottles of 60 ml solution (30 days) and I was shocked. I sent them an email on 26th June 2009 regarding the same and there was no reply for next 2 days.


I send them a reminder on 29th June 2009 to which someone from Guthy Renkar called and apologised for the wrong product being delivered to me. I was relevied as they had at least accepted their mistake. The real story begins now :- I asked them to send me a new product and I offered to send them the wrong one back to them, to which they said, they have a policy that they will not send the new product unless and until they receive the old one back with them.


I offered them to send the product provided they pay for it, to which they said, they have a policy wherein the customer has to born the shipping charges whether or not he/she is at any fault. This went on for sometime (almost 20 days) and finally I had to spend Rs.200/- to get the wrong product delivered by Proactiv back to them. I did that on 29th July’09. The product got delivered on 30th July’09 and since then I’m still waiting for the correct product to get delivered to me. I’ve lost all my money (approx 3000) and no services have been rendered so far.
