This’s Manoj. On 12/01/2013, I called Mr. Shiva kumar(No.971554559) who is branch manager of Professional packers and movers, for relocation services. As per my request, he came to my house and gave me the quote of Rs. 12, 500 for shifting my household articles, from Coimbatore to Palakkad.
He promised me that, his workers will pack each and every material from Coimbatore & will unpack the same, fix and connect my LCD TV, REFRIDGERATOR, WASHING MACHINE, STEEL COAL at my new home in Palakkad.
As scheduled, on 22/01/2013, workers from Professional packers and movers from Kavundampalayam, came to my house in Sivananda Colony, Coimbatore and packed every thing. They were four persons. On departure, they demanded tip amount from me. I gave them Rs. 100 each to them. And they told me that I should pay full amount, then itself plus service tax worth Rs.2000 additional. I did it also.
They promised me that they will reach Palakkad, next day around 8 am. But I am sorry to say that, they reached the destination, on 23/01/2013, at 1 pm only. They informed me that there was delay in check post. Later, they refused to unpack/fix the household materials. Their supervisor told me that, it’s not their job and I have to contact any local electricians or other workers for that. But, their branch manager promised me clearly that, his workers will do everything incl. fixing and connecting all household/electronic items. That’s why, I allowed them to detach, my steel coat and electronic items into several parts.
When contacted to Mr. Sivakumar(No.9715545559/56), he told me that he will speak with the supervisor & will give me a call back within 5 minutes. But he didn’t call me till now.When I called him again, he disconnected the line. I got the relevant electricians/ other workers on second day only. Till then my life was just like a nightmare. At last, these local workers informed me that, some materials are missing from washing machine and steel coats and TV stands. I had to buy all those parts from local shops again. So I request you that, if you are going for any relocationservices, kindly choose any reputed and good agencies, other than Professional packers & movers.
