I heard of the book (circle of light) when I saw the movie trailors.Fascinated by how a wife burnt her own husband(n also for inspiration :P) I decided to read the novel first.Read and imperessed I was eager to watch the movie.
Two hours later I was left wondering if the movie was really inspired from that book. The novel gives an insight of the life of kiranjit alhuwalia whereas the movie even fails to provide an overview.The novel gives full detail about Kiran’s life n the toture’s she was subjected to, you can actually feel her pain when u read.In the movie however, the director missed out on a little too much as a result it fails to touch the heart of the audience.It was disappointing for me but all those of you who are not fond of reading, this is the best you have so go ahead and watch it.. not for the movie but for kiran.. hats off to her!!
