PSG College of Technology, a private engineering college at Peelamedu in Coimbatore was established in 1951 by G.R.Damodaran. The campus has open out over 45 acres, situated in the heart of the city. It is an ISO 9001:2000 certified autonomous institution, aided by the government and affiliated with Anna University.

This engineering college has a strength of more than 8000 students with 48 full time and part time programs in engineering and technology departments, management sciences and humanity departments for Undergraduate and Postgraduate levels.
Each department of this institution organise National and International conference, regular Workshop for probagation of art technologies and research findings once in a year. All departments to a great extent assisted by the expertise of more than 15 visiting faculty from prominent institutions and industries. Every year, AICTE/ISTE has funded to conduct, five short term programmes on current topics of interest for teaching faculty from other colleges.
Apart from the clubs, students wings such as NCC and NSS function on the campus and the student’s union is the highest body which controls social activities involved in the college. The Intra college cultural festival called Intrams conducted in every September. Kriya, an international techno management festival has conducted since 2005.
