High Expectation becomes a low Retort

Dir. Selvaraghavan has attempted a tamil flick with a south indian background and indian contemperory values in Hollywood style, especially of no logic.

The Expectation created in the audience even before its release for few reasons

#1. High Budget

#2. Casting (Especially Sneha doing the prostitute role for the first time)

#3. Selvaraghavan’s series of novelty films (not to forget mostly Psychic pattern films)

#4. Music Hit before the movie release.

and so on...

with so many expectations, audience felt dissappointed after finding not much interesting scenes, and some scenes which depict usual tamil action films for instance: Chithram Pesudhadi..

More over people could not digest Dhanush playing a powerful, brawny, herculian and godlike character...

Allmost all scenes are easily predictable, so one can easily lose interest from the beggining.

Yuvan has once again proved a sucess with his experiments on composing music, which interprets many popular scores and numbers from western bands and movies.

Arvind Krishna’s aesthetic photography and Kola Bhaskar’s ace editing did help the film to make the audience sit at least till the end.

The most unacceptable part in the movie comes in the end, the climax is supposed to be the gripping and interesting element for a movie, but this is reversed here.

As on my point of view, I was dissappointed with Dir. Selvaraghavan, as he could have utilised the big budget for a better script and a even better Film than his previous projects...
