I want to share my worst product experience with **PUMA**, a brand whose has got an amazing visibility when it comes to branding in the market. But when it comes to customer service, durability and comfort, **PUMA** stand way below other brands like **Nike, Addidas and Reebok**. This review is completely based on the experience that I had with the brand and after all this I have completely lost my trust and faith in PUMA. I dont think I will again think about buying PUMA products ever. Here is a recap of my entire experience with PUMA brand–
I purchased a pair of shoes with **Model# 30142804 co-branded with Ferrari(SF Scatlista Lo Black-Black)** on November 11, 2009 from a PUMA store in Delhi.
In my first usage itself the right shoe started giving me trouble to an extent that I could barely walk wearing it. I informed the store about it very next day and they told me to come up with the shoes to get it checked.
I approached the store on November 30th but the sales staff gentleman at the counter inspected the shoes and then adamantly told me that it’s not a manufacturing defect without even sending it for further inspection to manufacturing team.
The impropriety and rudeness of the sales staff gentleman handling my request was truly not befitting the ethics of customer-care, especially for a company of Pumas reputation.
I somehow managed to leave the shoes at the store on November 30th, 2009.
The simple replacement took me almost a month after writing so many e-mails to people at different levels with PUMA and getting no response back from them.
The replacement shoes that I got from the store lasted only 8 months as their side stitching have come out completely. Even though they were good in comfort but when it comes to durability they stand nowhere in comparison to other brands.
After experiencing all this I would suggest anyone to think twice before actually going for PUMA products. If you want to go for good looks and not durability then you can go for PUMA but if you are looking for both then my suggestion would be a complete “NO” to this brand.
