The airport in pune is very small in size and is therefore very easy to get around in. As far as I know, only Jet, Sahara, and Indian Airlines fly out of there. Sometimes there are delays due to the IAF practicing. So you get to see some fighter jets coming and going. As u enter the police at the front ask to see your ticket. then you proceed to the x-ray machine for checked baggage. from there go to the check in counter and get checked in . It’s never been crowded in the 15-20 times I’ve been there. FROM THERE you will go through security and get your carry on luggage checked. Assuming all goes well, the man or women stamps the tag on the luggage and you wait for your flight. Restrooms are clean, 2 years ago they were awful. However, there isn’t much to eat (cheese sandwich, chips, drink) on either side. Thankfully no bloody Tata Indian bus to go to the palne like in delhi, you just walk out and board the plane. Oh and one more check of the baggage before boarding. Airport staff is very helpful, prepaid taxi avb., tata indica. Everything is done very effciently.
