I had been to pune for 3 days on a Business Trip. I stayed in the Central Park Hotel. During the evening times, I did not have anything to do ! tried to hang around some shopping malls, but could not find too many. Tried some pubs but hey they have this permit thing I do not understand.
Also I noticed that city is very shabby and not maintained properly. And also it is too dark, and Pune in the Night is too Dull. Almost like an Owl !
And who said Pune has a nice weather ? it was 36 deg and burning hot ! I was told temp goes up to 48 degs in summer !
Being a high energy person, and a native of bangalore, I found Pune very very lifeless. Couldn’t spot one decent chick on the street !
PUNE - I am sorry. Take a few Lessons from Bangalore. You are real real lucky to get this far !
ps: Infosys Chairman must get his head examined for investing so heavily in PUNE. He should have stuck to Bangalore !
