Hey friends, Punjab national bank is one the India’s leading public sector bank. Being such a big institution the bank’s employees are not well mannered.
They misbehave, dictate and sometimes abuse their customers. It was like there is no regulating or monitoring body is acting in the bank.
As a student I have to fill various government competitive examination forms, and payment is done by bank challan. So one day I have visited the Punjab National bank’s branch situated at Govidpur in Allahabad city. First of all it was being 10.20 AM and bank was close.
After some time an employee came and open the bank then I entered the premises of the bank. I asked one of the staff about fee payment counter, he pointed me there but there was no staff and counter was close. I had wait 20 minutes then a person opened the window.
Till then there were many students like me gathered and form a line for payment. The bank employee told us that you have to submit your form and money and you would get the receiving by evening. for me it was a shock because I had never heard about this rule before. Everywhere I got the receiving at the same time. I thought what if in the evening they told me you did not deposited the money or they miss my form, in those condition how could I prove it.
So I asked the same thing with employee that was on the counter and he started shouting on me, I said I am only asking then I threw my form and said he would not deposit my money, so I went to branch manager but he was also got angry on me.
