When you are really frustrated of something, what do you do when the options are really limited? Write about it!!!
That is what I am doing here, it is so irritating that I can beat up someone just to vent out my anger. In these professional times where you are used to smooth operations, we have certain elements who really leave you with a bad taste in mouth. Such a provider has turned out to be Punjab National Bank.
Just when you need the things to be done, a Roadblock with initials P.N.B. comes forth.
I ignored Punjab National Banks shortcomings as I dont use their services as much. But I didnt expect that I would end up Condemning them.
The First Experience of Inefficiency came up when I went to the sector 19 branch in Chandigarh for acquiring ATM Card. The guy responsible for this was shy of attending to me. He kept passing the buck saying that "The guy who handles this has not come". All this while he was in possession of ATM Cards and Passwords. He himself gave it to one of his acquaintance in front of me, when I asked him about that, he said he is from the bank staff. Does it mean that Bank Employees come before Bank Clients?
It was only after Half an hour later that he gave me the ATM Card.
I ignored the above incident but when I happened to punch the wrong password while on Internet Banking. I ended up with my Net banking ID disabled. When I called up the Customer Support - the guy was rude.
I helped myself and read about their policy of 7 days password recovery and that also by going to the bank, that also twice - First to Inform and then to Retrieve the password. If its is going to take that much of time what is the use of net banking, other banks have a simple and quicker procedure which requires your Email ID and Registered Mobile number.
I see lots of people appreciating the bank and i am quite surprised. These reviews are 2-3 years old and i guess success has got into their heads. Lame bank for sure.
