What a disappointment it was to have food at Punjabi by Nature, which has been rated 4.0 i.e. Very Good by Times Food Guide, and also has got some good rating from a similar publication by Hindustan Times, since I saw a certificate hanging near the entrance saying so.
We ordered Tandoori Gobhi, which was toooo chilly, so chilly that one got no taste of the Kebab. The Tandoori Mushroom was also tooooo chilly. The Murgh Malai Kebab was tasteless, and infact not cooked properly ... we had to leave it, as is, since noone liked it.
Coming to the Main course, we ordered Butter Chicken, and I must say, it was the worst Butter Chicken, I had in my life ... even road side joints in Delhi know how to make better Butter Chicken.
And to top it all, we had gone there to Celebrate my Wife’s Birthday ... gosh, and what a disappointment ... we were all so upset.
The only good thing about this joint was that the helpings were HUGE, but what would one do with HUGE helpings, if the food is atrocious.
