Worst service

We bought this product 2-3 years back at Bangalore. When it works, it works well.


But every now and then, say once in 3-4 months, we have to replace the germ-kill kit. And every single time we get it replaced, it never works right away.


First couple of times, there was an airlock and the water never got filtered. We had to call the service person to fix it.


A couple of times it leaked from near the tap and again we had to call the service person to fix it.


The last time we got the germ kill kit, that was about 3 months back, he fixed it wrong, and the moment we fill water, it starts leaking all through between the bottom compartment and the transparent compartment just above the tap. He has fixed the germ kill kit with the wrong threading there and the two compartments do not fit perfectly anymore.


The screw is such that it requires a specific tool to open, so we could not correct the threading ourselves.


We tried calling the service person several times, and he kept promising to comer over and fix it, but he never turned up.


Pure-it helpline is not answering at all. I tried several times and I keep getting "All our sevice representatives are busy. You call is very important to us. Please stay on the line", this goes on for more than 5 minutes and no response. All of a sudden I get disconnected.


So the new germ kill kit is installed and the purifier is completely useless.


We are frustrated with the Bangalore service centre for Pureit and do not recommend it to anyone.
