Pureit Marvella Water Purifier

High maintenance cost

I am using this Pure-It marvella(RO) since January 2013. Product quality is very good but it’s maintenance cost is really really very high. Below is an example-




  • The installed filters were doing well till the machine started to flash "Change CSF" in early December 2013. Accordingly "GKK-1" was replaced in 14th December. Cost was Rs. 1, 625/-. Though it was under Warranty but Pure-It says, cartridges are not covered, wonder what are the other items left in warranty.




  • In February-2014, I observed that, the purifier is taking too much time to purify the water. Upon my request, technicians visited my place and suggested to install one Iron Guard before the pre-sediment filter and change of few components including cartridge of pre-sediment filter but the problem persists. Cost incurred was Rs. 2, 175/-.




  • In early May-2014, I observed blinking of "Change ROM" and lodged request to change "GKK-2". Same was replaced in 16th May 2014. Cost incurred was Rs. 3, 725/-.




  • Now, in November-2014, I observed it again taking too much time to purify the water(almost two and half hours to fill eight liter storage tank). Though all the lights are in green state. It seems I need to change the "GKK-2" once again.






Other co-residents in the same building is using KENT RO but they need to do the maintenance only once in a year. Also they are covered under AMC but HUL do not have any such service.


Sincerely requesting Pure-It team to have a look and give me a permanent solution, as it is really impossible to bear such a high recurring expense in every month.
