Defective Product delivered

I bought this product from Maharaja Agencies, Mathikere on Saturday (21 July 2012).  Even though, the promise was to install it on 22nd July it never happened. (Its still ok). The technician called me and informed me that he will install it by Monday, 23rd July before 9 AM since I told him the need to go to office rather than waiting for him. He turned up 12:30 PM.


We could notice some calls which he was getting from previous installations regarding leakage & we could see the same issue happening with ours too. The technician was however in no mood to listen to our concerns and he kept on arguing that the product will be ok once the tank is full. He then vanished after installation and didn’t listen to fill the guarantee card. (The agency however have told us that the card will be filled by the technician).


Now, the real problem : The tank started leaking and the complete wall & tiles of the kitchen where its installed started getting wet. We called the technician (who never responded) and then the agency. The pureit sales person there was very casual and informed us to contact customer care. We then decided to shut the product. When we reached customer care, they didn’t have my details at all.


In the complete process, I lost a full day and have a defective product in hand. Its disgusting to have Hindustan lever product which is defective and have a pathetic after sales support. I wouldn’t recommend this product at all.
