Purchased Marvella on Aug 3, 2010, since it isnt in stores yet, we called the toll free 1800 number and they came home with the unit. They said they would courier the warranty, guarantee card... Is still has not come (Aug 22, 2010)
The jar they show in the ads to help you collect the filtered water? It doesnt come out easily. You have to apply a lot of pressure to take it out, so much pressure that the water sloshes around spilling out almost invariably. Day before yesterday night, the whole water filter started leaking from all seams. I registered a complaint on Aug 21 (102603228), the service person arrived (on Aug 21, a Saturday morning) and said he did not have the tools required to deal with the problem, this is despite our telling him which type of filter it was and what the problem was. He did not return. Today is Sunday. He will not come.
Customer Care Executives are not helpful at all, they do not take complaints seriously. They said that they cannot do anything about it since it is a Sunday, then they said they would call up some service centre that is working and get them to come and repair the unit. Then they said no one is taking their call. They actually hung up the call when we called them back to ask them what was happening.
I wouldnt have bothered so much is this were not a water filter. As a company that deals in water quality, it should realize that a damaged unit cannot be used for filtering water, thus making the water unfit for drinking, in fact the water isnt even reaching the filter, it is just gushing out from all nooks and crannies.
There is no point in selling a water filtering unit, and then not turning up to repair it. Extremely disappointed with the service and device. Dont buy it, makes no sense at all.
