I have ordered RO+UV model online but the dealer has shipped RO+MF, a low-cost model. It took another 3 weeks’ time to get it replaced with the ordered model.
As per my experience, service persons in Pureit are not at all trained properly. After a few day’s of trials, the service guy told me that it is not possible to install Pureit models in my kitchen. He told me to return it and buy another brand. I was surprised to hear this as my water tap in the kitchen was a quite normal type. I just checked and found an easy solution to install it. Then I myself had installed it.
It worked without any trouble for 5 months. But a loud noise used to come from it when Oxytube works(like the noise of a grinder or mixer). From that noise, we feel that something is wrong in it. But when I had shown it to pureit team, they told this noise is expected from this model when oxytube works.
Sediment filter fault error has started displaying after 5 months of usage even though I am using clean well water. This got replaced by the service team free of cost with the spare unit available in the package.
After 9 months of purchase, the purifier totally stopped working. I had hardly used oxytube 2-3 times during this period.
Few days after registering the complaint, the service person had visited my house without any tools with him. After inspecting the device he returned back saying that he will come with tools to open it. After a few days, I got a call from Pureit service center and they told me that the main control card of the purifier is damaged. They have also informed that it is not a ready stock item and has been ordered. As per them, the lead time for this part was supposed to be 2-3 days.
Now it is one week since then and there is no update from them. I am afraid how to manage these issues and service expenses after warranty period gets over. Looks the service charge after guarantee period will be huge as it is not a reliable product.
There is an E-mail ID in pursuit to escalate customer complaints to the head of the service. But there is no use even if you escalate it with all the information. I didn’t get any response from that ID also.
I am totally dissatisfied with this product and I will not recommend it to anybody.
