I bought Pureit Ultima RO+UV one week ago after a lot of research on the internet and taking demos from both Aquaguard and Pureit. I am pretty happy after buying this product, as it promises to offer guaranteed pure water and remove all impurities and dissolved chemicals.
I was specifically looking for a good and reliable water purifier which has to have RO+UV, as the area I live in has very bad water with high TDS and even traces of lead, arsenic and dissolved fertilizers. So, a good RO purifier is specifically needed for safe water consumption in my locality. As dissolved chemicals, arsenic and lead do not get filtered even after boiling and straining water, only UV purifier is not suitable for me, so I had to simply dispose off my previous Aquaguard compact UV purifier and go for a new purifier.
I selected 3 products after my research: Dr.Aquaguard Magna, Pureit Ultima and Pureit Marvella, but I went for Pureit Ultima for its cool design and larger water tank capacity. It flaunts a nice black and steel exterior in food grade plastic, but feels durable. It gets an LED display showing how much TDS is being removed from water and finally offered to you. This screen will also alert about when to change the purifying units and also show customer care number.
I like the blue light that lights up the dispensed water and its 10 liter tank capacity, so I can fill many bottles at a time. We all have been having this water including my 4 year old, and we haven’t faced any issues with the quality of water or anything else till now.
Only thing is that it is an expensive purifier and depending on your water consumption, the maintenance cost will be also high. There is no yearly maintenance contract for Pureit, so maintenance cost will vary according to water consumption.
The Pureit Ultima is a good overall buy, and I recommend it.
