I have purchased this device for Rs.1600/- by looking at the Company symbol. First time we identified red indicator and called customer care to replace battery kit. They have taken JUST one month time to do it. For every 1500 litres of water purified we need to replace the battery kit.
With new battery we could not able to identify red indicator even after using it 5 months continuously, as we called customercare and complained about this error / problem. Technician cheked the battery and confirmed that battery kit before replacement only strucked, it was not even filtered 1 liter of water. We shocked because total 5 months we 2 and our 2 children regularly drinking the same unpurified water by sparing our regular Rama water filter.
Even though it is thieir problem they have not replaced battery kit, more over they asked to purchase a new one. We purchased because there is a need, now they given battery with auto swith-off technology with extra money for that.
So what is the use, again same problem repeated with new battery kit.
After 4 months we have given a complaint to customer care, Technician approached us and checked the device and battery kit, and confirmed that the new Battery kit filtered 700 liters of water then strucked, because of that it is not showing red indicator, (as per our calculation 1500 liters mark crossed long ago)
It means this time also after 700 liters of purified water we consumed unpurified water by just believing this Pureit device. Now I have a question to the technician, that suppose if this 3rd battey kit also(as 2 already damaged) not working properly will they take back my device and return my money? They dont answer. Asked to purchase new battery kit, then they will take care of the damaged battery kit after lodging a complaint at their service point.
