I bought Hindustan Lever Pureit compact model from Spar Bazar, Koramangala, Bangalore on 9th June 2010. Within use of the model for 10 days, the base compartment starting leaking. Meaning, the base compartment cannot store water, it will all flow down! When called to your call center(Number 9243100100) regarding this, the customer care rep mentioned that there is no onsite service for the product.
Well, no one would dare say this when you buy the product! Irked by such a response, I asked for a manager whom I could complain. Well, here comes a blunt reply "Managers don’t speak to customers". And, all supervisors are at lunch at 3:15 PM!!!!
First, there is no information on Onsite service not being provided on your booklet. When selling the product, you will be smartly cheated by not letting you know the fine print.
Second, you have to carry the product to a nearby store which can service. Its not that easy to carry the product!! The first page of warranty booklet reads "We thank you for the trust you have shown in our product and we guarantee you that our product will live up to your expectations."
By expectations, they mean expectations at the time of buying the product, not post that!! DON’T BUY THE COMPACT MODEL ON THE BASIS OF FALSE CHALLENGE!!
