We bought a Pure it as we didn’t trust tap water for food. Worked fine for 10 months. Then we moved to a new house (Thanks to house owners who are very to increase rent to insane levels). Second house after around 2 months the color of cartridge changed and so starts the ordeal of searching for a cartridge
Ask ANY SHOPKEEPER they won’t keep the parts of this cr*p.
Finally got the customer support number and Lo the first blow-
They don’t sell the cartridge alone they sell it along with the carbon dome (I don’t know what its called) and the Filter.
Charge around 350 /- and we have to replace the same .. the guy didn’t service. I changed the filter and changed the carbon dome after which the water started leaking. However, we tighten the washer and the round ring.water leaks.
I can show you at least 6 friends who all have their pure it lying dismantled and useless. So DO NOT BUY THIS FILTER .. IF YOU INTEND TO USE IT LONG TERM..Its good only for one time
The build is very cheap almost every Pureit I have observed has the cartridge cover broken. Everything is just CHEAP plastic and once removed doesnt fit properly ..Even their system is faulty.
Once you register your email into their site, be ready for at least 10 spam emails stating you haven’t brought cartridge please change it etc.
Pureit is Pure BS after the initial cartridge is over. IF you want a water filter go for some serious ones out there.
