Makes Pure Sense

Just a phone call. And a sales guy was at our home at a convenient time. He wasn’t pushy or over eager. He gave a demo and clarified all our doubts. Then we took a couple of days to make up our minds - no overbearing follo ups from the company! Than when we confirmed our order, they delivered the product and collected the money - all of Rs 1, 500. So economical compared to many water purifiers! No power supply required.

No frequent cleaning & maintenance. No need to have a running water supply. No plumbing required. It sits neatly in a 1’x1’ space. And the piece looks damn smart. It runs on a column (they call it a battery) of 3-4 purification systems. Each ’’battery’’ (not the power batteries) lasts for about 1500 litres of water, I think. And then you need to change the ’’battery’’, which costs Rs 250 - they home deliver it if you call a toll free number.

There’s even a battery life indicator so that you can be prepared. So, Rs 250 for 1500 litres. That makes it about 17 paise per litre - WOW! Can you beat that - especially in a water-starved city like Chennai. The water tastes okay and it has saved us the hassles of boiling water for 30 minutes, gas consumption, waiting for it to cool, filtering it and so on.

Above all, it comes from Hindustan Lever - it’s easy to trust such a company. I think it was a good buy. I would surely recommend it to friends here.
