I have purchased pure it on Christmas from cmr in Visakhapatnam without going for any demo at home or at the place of purchase due to its reputed and trusted brand image of Hindustan ltd.
Actually after pouring water into it it is making sounds for about 10 min every time, and it takes a very long time to get the water purify i.e:the purifying rate for 1 hour is about 200-250ml which is too low when compared with tata swatch. The water is not tat much taste and in turn it is having same taste as of ground water.
I had a complaint of water leakage tat was not attended since from 3 days.
I was pretty much surprised to know that tata swatch battery life was around 3ooolts capacity..
So friends i suggest you to opt for tata purifier as it technology was not of chlorine based its mechanism is based on nano sized silver particles which reacts with sulfhydryl group in bacteria cell membrane and thus effecting its dna and at lasts it kills...its cost is also superb...
Please don’t go for pure it. It is waste of money...And u will get mental trauma.
