We bought pureit on suggestion of my cousin brother last year in november. After getting it installed, in around 10 days, a leakage started for which we registered a complaint and after 2-3 reminders, a person came, he opned the entire machine with raw hands, he had put those hands in the transparent container and washed it with normal water to which we resisted but he did it. he changed some rubber packing and thats it, he went saying the problem is rectified. But again when we filled it with water, it started leaking after arnd 3 hrs.
Anyhow we got unit replaced from the person we purchased after repeated arguments.
After which again problem arised when battery exhausted, we lodged a request for battery and after repeated reminders no one turned up even after 15 days, we got fed up and kept it at a side thinking that we had a loss deal.
We needed a purifier so again after a 10 days we registered at customer service center for a battery which was replaced after a week for Rs.600.
Now again battery is gone and transparent container walls have white deposits on the walls and base. I doubt now whether is it hygienic to use it now with depositions.
Afraid of logging a service request as we dont know in how much time will it be attended. We are planning to buy a reliable purifier. While looking for reviews for purifiers I came across mouthshut.com and saw that Pureit has not only offended me but they are many people similar to me. After reading reviews I prefer to buy a reliable purifier than to use PureIt and I shared my experience here so that people don’t waste their money in pureit like we did.
