I have a good old EurekaForbes water filter which is 10yrs old and still runs but with screwing pace of water purification, though I change charcoal, filters etc in time and Cust service is not bad to an extant of PureIT of Swatch.
But since it doesnt work during power cuts, I thought of buying a new one, and started going thru their websites and Advt. which are tall claims. Particularly Pureit challenge for germ Free water etc...
Atfirst, I prefer Swatch as it is Indian’s product but while I go thru Mouthshut reviews, was taken aback with such bad and insulting reviews to a product of TATA, People complaining about broken filter, leaking and also stops in 3/ 7 days above all TATA trademark of ’poor customer service’. Only one review said its real good product with only bad thing is constant cleaning required.... So I decided not to buy it
Then I have gone thru Pureit reviews, here there are complaints of poor customer service, germ kit price, non availability, poor filtering etc... Now I decided not to buy this also. I have also gone thru the other water purifiers of Eureka (battery based) there also scores of complaints cautioning the prospective buyers like me.... Now after reading all these reviews, Iam in total fix whether to buy or not a new water purifier OR just live along with the old one I have at home.
