I have been a regular customer of Haze(as we call it here in BLR) for 3years now and I still am! Its a decent place to be, specially after a busy and hectic day at office. But again- I direct this review to only those people who like are rockers and metalheads.Although, theres another pub called Styx ( I m a frequent customer there too!), which plays only metal (from heavy to goth) , Haze offers you an entire range of music , right from rock classics to new age rock till speed metal. And whts more important is that if you are a visitor in BLR, make it a point to visit Haze on Friday/Satday evening . The videos start from around 7.45-8pm , and so does the crowd influx. The show kicks of with some slow/classic numbers , usually like Floyd or maybe some Steve Vai Solo... and as the tempo increases, the show goes heavier and heavier till around 10-10.30 pm (if u r a metalhead, then best time for you would be 9.30pm-10.30pm) and again, the tempo is brought down to rock classics and the show invariably ends with a much loved number like Nothing Else matters, or Mama- Im comin home..or some number of that sort. But if you are looking for a show where you want numbers only from a specific era/artist/category of rock to be played- then Haze is certainly not the place to be. You will find the beauty of Haze only if you can enjoy the whole spectrum of Rock music. In a way, Haze reveals how the classic rock n roll has evolved into hard rock, then metal and now new-age rock and metal. In a nutshell, Haze is a rock pilgrimage to all those who are into this genre of music. And if you want to meet me in Haze anytime/any evening, jus go up to the DJs corner , and the guy with a cigarette and a beer in his hand is me! Cheers for now- keep rockin guys/girls!
