Just to begin with, the sweeper comes to clean your room, half-hourly, wearing a pair of plastic gloves.Using these he/she/it(?) PICKS the trash, all colours, all kinds, from within the plastic bag of your dedicated trash-can and the multi-coloured ones for easy sorting in the room and puts it in his/her plastic disposable tote bag. Then, he/she leaves.
I am sure you did not miss it. Or should I write it down? Please allow me!
He/she/It(?) has opened the door twisting the shiny-knobby-handle and then, subsequently, closed the same good door pulling the other side of the same shiny-knobby-handle with the same pair of unchanged GLOVES that had just a few seconds ago snaffled the wares from the within the plastic bags within the bins and NOT grabbed the entire bags. Now, that was a LONG sentence! How long a sentence should be awarded to their manager/CEO who has ordered these cost cutting measures?
For God’s sake, this is a Damned Renal Hospital. Even someone with extraordinary immunity cannot survive this, leave alone the frail patients. Just imagine what all goes in the trashcan in a hospital. Allow me help you imagine/visualize: Chocolate wrappers, banana peels, old and wilted get-well-soon bouquets, green and yellow and brown sputum and nose-goo soaked tissue papers, toilet paper in the toilet bin. Ummmmm Let me think, what else.? Left over inedible patty/samosa from the in-house pantry for the attendant. And so on and so forth! I hope you get the picture.
The doctors, treatment and the diagnosis there are beyond my scope of review and shall remain unscathed.
