Neat and Cool

PVR Vikaspuri is one cinema with a heart and a soul. I live close by and there are more cinemas such as Vishal, M2K and the upcoming Satyam but my 8 year old always insists on being taken to PVR because of the attractions scattered all over and around the place for kids, including but not restricted to the golden McArch.

Ticketing counters are efficient, entry point has no crowds and once inside, you walk straight into the candy bar. Sound and picture quality is state of the art. If there is one thing PVR should consider replacing as a matter of urgency, it is the seats which are harder than a wooden bench.

There are plenty of dining out options in and around the complex where PVR Vikaspuri situates. In fact, open space in front of the cinema is a good place to take a stroll for the young crowd under the fading sunlight or the stars a bit later.

Overall, I would reckon that Satyam, in spite of its newness, stands little chance of dethroning PVR Vikaspuri from its high vantage point. Recently introduced differential pricing for movies is another benefit that should invite customers to choose it over other more expensive options far away from West Delhi.
