Well, a perfect sequel if you say. Pyaar ka Punchnama 2 followed closely on the lines of Pyaar ka Punchnama which released in 2011.
The director, Luv Ranjan on both occasions have maintained the same plot, albeit in different settings.The plot here revolves around three flatmates and very good friends falls in love with three different girls and how the relationships starting as sweetly as ever ends up in a mess.
Though a very much common plot, its rendition is what is all there to see.The film is quite a low budget one with the exotic locations being only Pattaya.Well, whats good to see is how the director operating on a shoe string budget has managed to attract viewers yet again despite the plot being almost the same.
As for the cast, it remains almost the same except Sunny Singh and Omkar Kapoor in the fray.The ladies though remain the same.If I am to judge then Sunny Singh was the one whose performance caught my eyes the most.And then I almost forgot.There was Kartik Aaryan’s monologue yet again and this time for a longer duration, which in the first place made the first one famous.
Well so much for the plot.However the background score and the songs are okay.
As for my experience I was not glued to the screen at all.Its those type of movies you watch while going out with your friends and having some fun.It will lighten your mood for sure.However it is a one time watch at its best.
