What you see is,that you don’t get?

I was booked on a Qantas Airline when I visited Malaysia for the first time. The flight was Bombay-Singapore-Melbourne. I had to alight at Singapore and change To Malaysian Airlines to Malaysia.

I was all excited to travel by this particular airline as I had seen lot of ads of Qantas and it service. I thought that it’s a very professional kind of Airline. And more so because it’s an Australian Airline. I traveled by from Singapore to Bombay on the same flight.

I HAD TRAVELED BY ECONOMY CLASS AND PEOPLE WHO TRAVELED FIRST CLASS MAY NOT AGREE WITH ME.

The ground staff were not that good as expected of an international airlines (our domestic Jet airlines ground staff are much better). The feel of an international airlines service was missing.

As soon as I entered into to the airline my excitement died. The aircraft was very small and seats were very crammed. Less leg room in the seats was very less. The size of the seat could fit in your body but you cannot move yourself. You literary have to fight for the hand rest or wait when your co passenger removes his hand. Our local bus seats are much more comfortable than Qantas Airlines seats. Being the gangway very narrow the passengers find it difficult to move between seats. May be the airline was very old.

The airhostesses were very rude and at one point ridiculed one of the passengers. They were pretty old too. One elderly passenger tried to be good with one airhostess, had to take a comment on his baldhead.

The aircraft took off and we were served hot drinks, I had a tin of beer. The airhostesses were doing as though they had limited stock. One passenger asked for “bloody marry” drink and was replied with a big “NO”. He insisted and finally the customer service manger on board had to intervene. He took the passenger to the rear of the aircraft was served me the drink.

The food was served. The airhostess went on asking veg or non-veg food. When I asked for a non-veg food, she said non-veg food was over. I was surprised by this reply from the airhostess. An international airline cannot provide enough proper meal to their passengers.

The flight reached at Singapore airlines early morning. We were not provided with a cup of tea or coffee. I alighted the flight half sleepy and had my break fast at the Singapore airlines. I really had to hop like an Kangaroo to get out.

Later I came to know that they don’t give good service for Indian routes. God know is it true or false. But I had a very bad experience.
