Its business class may be 5-star but not everyone can afford Business Class. I took the Economy Class from IAD-DOH-TRV. The plane was really old and seat covers were coming out of the cushion. Entertainment system didn’t work properly throughout the journey. But the cherry on top was the food! Airplane food is generally bad. But, every time I have used Qatar before, I would get at least edible food. This time, I got some boiled sweet potato (I think), chicken sausages and boiled beans. It tasted horrible to say the least. Service quality went down...no towels/candy were offered.
Maybe they are saving money to build the new airport. Stay Away!
