Qatar loses luggage and refuses to compensate

This is my letter to them which they rejected and never replied or entatained.

Dear sir/madam


RE: Qatar Airways(QA) Lost Luggage claim no ALYQR10491 22October 2006(baggage tag QR008855)


With respect to above I would want express my disappointment that it has taken about more than 5 months since the incident that QA is taking to settle my claims and the result was no compensation was given.


.As reported to your officers at the Qatar KL Airport , you


have informed me that QA is not willing to reimburse the amount I have spent for buying necessary clothings and other necessity


needed for 7 days in Cairo and Alexandria as a result of negligence of Qatar Airways losing my clothes luggage bag during my flight from KLIA to Alexandria Egypt during my tour there.


This inconvenience caused of losing my clothes luggage by Qatar Airlines was a bad holiday and I and my wife had to be stranded while on tour at the Alexandria airport while finding for my lost luggage, making a report and lost of time .


As my other bag was laden with food items and water bottles I had no clothes to wear whatsoever during the next 7 days


I was then advised by Qatar Airways officials at Alexandria and my tour guide to purchase the clothes and make the claim with Qatar Airways, as they will definitely compensate for this negligence.


Based on the above I would want to make an appeal that Qatar


Airways will consider my appeal .


I sincerely hope Qatar Airways will consider my appeal.
