I’ve had a mixed history with dating apps. Most of them feel like a popularity contest or a game, not an actual place to connect with people. This app kind of changed that impression. I’ve ended up having conversations with people who weren’t just looking to “match and ghost.” A few were into music, this one girl was obsessed with board games, and another was just really funny and laid back. I’ve noticed people respond thoughtfully — not just the one-word replies.
Even when conversations don’t go anywhere romantic, they’re at least decent human chats. That alone makes it better than 90% of other apps I’ve tried. I didn’t think I’d enjoy the talking part so much, but turns out I kind of do.
