I was recommended to try this portal by a male friend who jokingly told me that I could find my ’guy’ here!! Can you imagine it? And I took his advice seriously!
Initially, frankly, I was even scared to write my email address while signing up, but then, I decided to let loose and give this a spin. The moment I was on the site, I was bombarded with chat requests where I had to accept to start chatting with some. Now, that intrigued me to keep going.
Eventually I got about 3-5 messages everyday and I too took time to send some template messages while I was still treading carefully. So, I did go on using this portal for about 10-15 days and found some really good people from Bangalore who were into the same profession I was (No points for guessing, I come from the IT background ;) ).
Now, that I am happy that this place is a much safer for women like me, I am chatting with more people from my age and city and interesting to meet so many different kinda people. Not to forget, some complete creeps!
End of if, I guess I am enjoying using this portal to grow my circle, except for a few irritating ones who I block now and then. Good concept, but overall, glad to see a site catching up to my city’s growing culture!
